The Zodiac Carb 87C column is made of polystyrene divinylbenzene spherical particles modified with a calcium ionic form. It deploys a combination of ligand exchange and size exclusion mechanisms, making it the industry standard for achieving high-resolution analysis of general sweeteners.

The Zodiac Carb 87P column features spherical polystyrene divinylbenzene particles modified with a lead ionic form. By utilizing both size exclusion and ligand exchange mechanisms, this column is specifically optimized for the high-resolution separation of monosaccharides and cellulose products.

The Zodiac Carb 87N column utilizes a sodium ionic form on polystyrene divinylbenzene particles to separate compounds.
