HPLC Separation of Vitamin C, Vitamin Group B, and Related Impurities

Home HPLC Separation of Vitamin C, Vitamin Group B, and Related Impurities

Description

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and B-group vitamins are efficiently separated on the Zodiac HST N column using a mixed-mode mechanism. This method is ideal for the quantification and analysis of polar vitamins in various formulations and dietary supplements. Detection can be performed using UV, Evaporative Light Scattering Detection (ELSD), RI, or MS. Adjustments to mobile phase conditions, such as buffer concentration, pH, and ACN content, allow for the elimination of sample matrix effects and tailored retention based on the unique polar and ionic properties of each vitamin.
