HPLC Separation of Aminobiphenyl Isomers in Cation-Exchange Mode

Two isomers of aminobiphenyl were successfully retained and separated using cation-exchange mode on the Zodiac HST S2 column. This HILIC/cation-exchange column supports multiple separation modes, including HILIC, cation-exchange, and anion-exclusion, offering flexibility for the analysis of polar compounds. The method is compatible with UV, ELSD, and LC/MS detection and is well-suited for routine analysis of isomeric and polar molecules.
