HILIC Separation of Surfactant Triton X-100 on Zodiac HST N Column

Home HILIC Separation of Surfactant Triton X-100 on Zodiac HST N Column

Description

Triton X-100 is a non-ionic surfactant composed of a hydrophilic polyethylene oxide chain (typically averaging 9.5 ethylene oxide units) and a hydrophobic hydrocarbon moiety. Zodiac HST N HPLC columns are employed for the separation of Triton X-100 oligomers using hydrophilic interaction chromatography (HILIC). This method effectively resolves individual oligomers and can be applied to analyze Triton X-100 in various cleaning formulations, including liquids, pastes, and powders. The separation is compatible with a wide range of detection techniques, such as UV, ELSD, LC/MS, RI, and CAD.
