HPLC Separation of Amino Acids, Bases, Acids, and Neutrals on Zodiac HST TH

Home HPLC Separation of Amino Acids, Bases, Acids, and Neutrals on Zodiac HST TH

Description

Separating basic, acidic, and zwitterionic compounds in a single reverse-phase HPLC run is often challenging, requiring complex gradients and ion-pairing reagents that may hinder MS compatibility. The Zodiac HST TH column, featuring embedded positive and negative ion-pairs, enables precise tuning for the separation of a wide range of compounds with varying ionic properties. Acids, bases, amino acids, and neutral compounds can be separated isocratically using a simple MS-compatible mobile phase of acetonitrile (ACN), water, and ammonium acetate (AmAc) buffer, with detection possible at 250 nm.
