Separation of Simple Tertiary Amines

Home Separation of Simple Tertiary Amines

Description

The Zodiac HST OG2 column separates simple tertiary amines (e.g., trimethylamine, triethylamine, diisopropylethylamine, N,N-dimethylbenzylamine) through cation exchange and reversed-phase mechanisms. Its embedded anionic functional group enhances retention of cations via polar and ion-exchange interactions. This method provides excellent peak shapes with a mass-spec-compatible mobile phase of water, acetonitrile (MeCN/ACN), and trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) using evaporative light scattering detection (ELSD).
