Description

Zodiac HST A separates ammonia and simple amines (butylamine, diethylamine, ethylamine, methylamine, and morpholine) through a combination of cation-exchange and reversed-phase mechanisms. Zodiac HST A features an embedded strong anionic functional group that enhances retention of cations via polar and ion-exchange interactions. The method delivers excellent peak shapes using a mass spectrometry-compatible mobile phase consisting of water, acetonitrile (MeCN, ACN), and trifluoroacetic acid (TFA), with detection by evaporative light scattering (ELSD).
