Separation of Nucleotide Monophosphates on Zodiac HST-SB Column

Home Separation of Nucleotide Monophosphates on Zodiac HST-SB Column

Description

Nucleotides, the building blocks of DNA and RNA, consist of a five-carbon sugar, a nitrogenous base, and one or more phosphate groups. The Zodiac HST SB column is well-suited for separating these highly polar compounds. It is a reverse-phase column embedded with strong basic ion-pairing groups, enabling effective retention and separation. Retention can be tuned by adjusting the acetonitrile concentration, and baseline separation is achievable in under 6 minutes using a gradient method.
