Separation of Glucose and Lysine on Zodiac HST S1 Column
HomeSeparation of Glucose and Lysine on Zodiac HST S1 Column
Description
Lysine, an essential amino acid commonly found in meat and cereal grains, is industrially produced through glucose fermentation. Lysine and similar biological compounds can be retained, separated, and analyzed using the Zodiac HST S1 column in normal-phase mode. The method employs an isocratic mobile phase of acetonitrile (MeCN), water (H₂O), and sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄) with detection via Refractive Index (RI).
