Reverse Elution Order in Separation of Alkali Cation

The Zodiac HST C column effectively separates a mixture of inorganic cations—potassium, sodium, and lithium—through a combination of cation-exchange and complexation mechanisms. Unlike traditional cation-exchange columns, the Zodiac HST C column produces a reversed elution order for these cations.
