Description
Paraquat, diquat, and glyphosate were successfully separated using the Zodiac HST HB column, which utilizes a hydrogen-bonding-based mixed-mode separation mechanism. This method takes advantage of the column’s ability to retain both cationic compounds like paraquat and diquat, and anionic or zwitterionic analytes such as glyphosate within a single chromatographic run.
Thanks to the column’s compatibility with 100% aqueous and 100% organic solvents, the method supports a wide range of gradients or isocratic conditions, offering excellent flexibility in method development. This approach enables quantitative analysis of all three compounds in complex matrices, including soil, groundwater, agricultural products, and food samples.
