HPLC Separation of Sodium, Chloride, Bromide, and Iodine using Zodiac HST-SB Column

Home HPLC Separation of Sodium, Chloride, Bromide, and Iodine using Zodiac HST-SB Column

Description

Halide ions are typically analyzed using ion chromatography with a conductivity detector. However, mixed-mode chromatography coupled with evaporative light scattering detection (ELSD) provides a compelling alternative to this conventional approach. Chloride, bromide, and iodide were successfully separated using a ZodiaA HST SB mixed-mode anion-exchange column. The mobile phase employed is compatible with both ELSD and LC/MS detection techniques.
