HPLC Separation of Organics Acids

The Zodiac HST RP mixed-mode column enables effective separation of organic acids such as succinic acid, malic acid, MPS, and butanesulfonate through a combination of reversed-phase and anion-exchange mechanisms. Unlike traditional ion-exchange or ion-exclusion chromatography, retention times can be finely tuned by varying the percentage of acetonitrile in the mobile phase.

The HPLC method employs a mobile phase composed of water, acetonitrile (MeCN/ACN), and ammonium formate buffer, making it fully compatible with mass spectrometry (MS). Additionally, the method supports UV detection at 250 nm.
