HPLC Separation of Organic Acids in HILIC Mode on Zodiac HST- S3 Column

Home HPLC Separation of Organic Acids in HILIC Mode on Zodiac HST- S3 Column

Description

Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), methylmalonic acid, and succinic acid are weak organic acids that are effectively separated using the Zodiac HST S3 column in HILIC mode with a mobile phase of acetonitrile/water and ammonium acetate. Detection is carried out using ELSD, enabling analysis of non-UV active compounds. This method is suitable for quantification of these acids in various matrices and can be applied to other polar organic acids using the same HILIC-based approach.
