HPLC Separation of Morpholino Sulfates

Home HPLC Separation of Morpholino Sulfates

Description

MOPS and MES are commonly used biological buffers containing a morpholine ring and a propanesulfonic acid group. These zwitterionic, highly polar compounds are not retained on traditional reversed-phase columns. Using the Zodiac HST S3 column in HILIC mode enables effective retention and analysis. This method is applicable for a wide range of biological buffers. Since these buffers lack UV activity, detection is achieved via ELSD, CAD, or LC/MS.
