HPLC Separation of Mixture of Atropine, Atrolactic Acid and Pralidoxime Chloride on Zodiac HST- OG2 Column

Home HPLC Separation of Mixture of Atropine, Atrolactic Acid and Pralidoxime Chloride on Zodiac HST- OG2 Column

Description

Atropine, atrolactic acid, and pralidoxime chloride are pharmacologically active compounds often analyzed together in pharmaceutical formulations or toxicological studies. These three analytes can be efficiently separated using the Zodiac HST OG2 mixed-mode column. The method utilizes a gradient mobile phase consisting of water and acetonitrile (MeCN), with phosphoric acid (H₃PO₄) as the buffer ranging from 0.1% to 0.3% over 10 minutes. Separation is achieved under isocratic flow conditions at 1.0 mL/min and monitored using UV detection at 200 nm. The Zodiac HST OG2 column provides strong retention and resolution of both basic and acidic components in a single run.
