HPLC Separation of Folpet on Zodiac HST TH and Zodiac HST B2 Mixed-Mode Column

Description

Folpet is a nonsystemic fungicide commonly used to control apple scab, cherry leaf spot, rose black spot, and mildew in roses. A validated analytical method for folpet has been outlined by the EURL-SRM, a proficiency test established by the European Union Reference Laboratory for single residue methods.

Folpet was successfully retained and separated from its impurities using Zodiac HST TH and Zodiac HST B2 columns. The Zodiac HST TH column incorporates embedded ionic and hydrophobic groups, offering mixed-mode capabilities ideal for fine-tuning separation. Zodiac HST B2, with its embedded basic ion-pairing groups, complements the separation by providing additional selectivity.

This LC/MS-compatible method is also suitable for the analysis of numerous other pesticides, making it a versatile solution for agrochemical testing.
