HPLC Separation of Cytidines

Cytidine mono-, di-, and triphosphates, highly polar nucleotides, can be effectively retained and separated using the Zodiac HST SB column via anion-exchange mechanisms. This approach eliminates the need for ion-pairing reagents and allows direct analysis of nucleotides in biofluids with minimal sample preparation. Proteins in biological samples are repelled by the silica surface. The method is compatible with UV, ELSD, CAD, and LC/MS detection techniques.
