5-MTHF (5-methyltetrahydrofolate) is a biologically active form of folic acid, a B vitamin essential for the synthesis of genetic materials such as DNA and RNA, as well as for amino acid metabolism. Its separation can be accomplished using the ZodiaC HST SB mixed-mode column, which utilizes a combination of hydrophobic, anion-exchange, and ion-exclusion mechanisms. This method is well-suited for quality control (QC), research and development (R&D), and related analytical applications.
