HPLC Method for Analysis of Sodium Erythorbate on Zodiac HST B Column

Home HPLC Method for Analysis of Sodium Erythorbate on Zodiac HST B Column

Description

Sodium erythorbate, a widely used food preservative and curing agent with antioxidant properties, is commonly found in meats, soft drinks, and baked goods. It can be effectively retained and analyzed on a Zodiac HST B reverse-phase column using a gradient method. The mobile phase consists of acetonitrile (MeCN), water, and ammonium acetate (AmAc) as the ionic modifier. This method enables high-resolution separation with excellent peak symmetry and UV detection at 250 nm.
