Home HPLC Method for Analysis of Bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl) sebacate on Zodiac HST B Column

Description

Bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl) sebacate is a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) widely used in the production of plastics, as well as in pharmaceutical packaging and manufacturing applications. This compound can be effectively retained and analyzed using a Zodiac HST B mixed-mode reversed-phase column. The method employs a gradient elution with a mobile phase comprising acetonitrile (MeCN), water, and sulfuric acid as an ionic modifier. Detection is performed using UV at 210 nm, providing high resolution and excellent peak symmetry for reliable quantification.
