HPLC Determination of Pralidoxime Chloride on Zodiac HST- OG2 Column

Home HPLC Determination of Pralidoxime Chloride on Zodiac HST- OG2 Column

Description

Pralidoxime chloride is a cholinesterase reactivator commonly used as an antidote for organophosphate poisoning. It can be effectively retained and analyzed using the Zodiac HST OG2 mixed-mode column, which provides excellent retention for polar and ionic compounds. The method employs a simple isocratic mobile phase of 20% acetonitrile (MeCN) and 80% water with 0.1% phosphoric acid (H₃PO₄) as the buffer. The separation is performed at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min, and detection is carried out using UV at 200 nm. The Zodiac HST OG2 ensures sharp peak shapes and reproducible results under MS-compatible conditions.
