HPLC Analysis of Thidiazuron on Zodiac HST – OG Column

Thidiazuron (TDZ) is a phenylurea derivative that exhibits cytokinin-like activity, playing a significant role in plant tissue culture by promoting shoot regeneration and inducing cytokinin-like effects. It is widely used to enhance plant growth and development, particularly in tissue culture applications. Thidiazuron can be retained, separated, and analyzed using a ZODIAC HST OG mixed-mode stationary phase column. The analysis utilizes an isocratic method with a mobile phase comprising water, acetonitrile (MeCN), and sulfuric acid as a buffer. Detection is achieved using UV at 200 nm.
