HPLC Analysis of Naled on Zodiac HST TH Column

Naled is an organophosphate insecticide characterized by relatively low toxicity. Although it is no longer approved for residential use, it continues to be applied in public health mosquito control programs. Naled can degrade into dichlorvos, a more toxic compound that is listed by the EURL as a target pesticide in the EUPT-CF9 program.

The Zodiac HST TH column is used to retain naled and achieve effective separation from its degradation products and other impurities. Featuring embedded ionic and hydrophobic groups, the column provides mixed-mode separation capabilities, allowing for precise and reproducible analysis of complex pesticide mixtures. The method is LC/MS compatible and well-suited for routine analysis of naled and other organophosphate insecticides.
