HPLC Analysis of Aspartic Acid and Asparagine on Zodiac HST TH Column

Two amino acids, aspartic acid and asparagine, are separated on a Zodiac HST TH column using a combination of reversed-phase and ion-exchange mechanisms. This method enables effective separation of underivatized amino acids and is suitable for use with HPLC detection techniques such as UV, ELSD, CAD, and LC/MS. It can be broadly applied to the analysis of various amino acids without the need for derivatization.
