HPLC Analysis of Anthocyanins (Keracyanin, Delphinidin, Petunidin, Malvidin) on Zodiac HST- OG Column

Anthocyanins are water-soluble pigments responsible for the red, purple, and blue colors in various fruits, vegetables, and flowers. As part of the flavonoid group, they possess strong antioxidant properties, contributing to health benefits. Key anthocyanins include Keracyanin, Delphinidin, Petunidin, and Malvidin, which exhibit distinct colors and antioxidant activities. These anthocyanins can be retained, separated, and analyzed using a ZODIAC HST OG mixed-mode stationary phase column. The analysis uses an isocratic method with a mobile phase comprising water, acetonitrile (MeCN), and sulfuric acid as a buffer. Detection is achieved using Vis at 530 nm.
