HPLC Analysis of Alfuzosin on Zodiac HST- OG2 Column

Description

Alfuzosin is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate.

Alfuzosin can be effectively retained and analyzed using a Zodiac HST OG2 mixed-mode column. The analysis uses an isocratic method with a mobile phase composed of water, acetonitrile (MeCN), and ammonium formate. Detection can be performed using UV at 247 nm, ELSD, CAD, ESI-MS, or other evaporative-based detection methods.
