Captan Retention on Zodiac HST TH Column

Captan is a phthalimide fungicide commonly used as a component in industrial pesticide formulations. It has been included by the EURL as a target compound in EUPT-SRM using the QuEChERS (Quick, Easy, Cheap, Rugged, and Safe) extraction method. For chromatographic analysis, the Zodiac HST TH column is employed to retain captan and achieve effective separation from impurities. The column’s embedded ionic and hydrophobic functionalities enable fine-tuning of separation conditions. The method is fully compatible with LC/MS and serves as a reliable approach for the analysis of captan and related fungicides.
