Analysis of N,N-Bis (2-hydroxy)-p-phenylenediamine on Zodiac HST OG Column

N,N-Bis(2-hydroxyethyl)-p-phenylenediamine (often abbreviated as N,N-Bis(2-hydroxyethyl)-PPD) is a derivative of p-phenylenediamine (PPD), commonly used in hair dyes.

It can be retained and analyzed using a Zodiac HST OG mixed-mode column with an isocratic method utilizing a mobile phase of water, acetonitrile (MeCN), and sulfuric acid buffer. Detection is performed using UV at 210 nm.
