Description

Labetalol is a medication used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension). As a combined alpha- and beta-blocker, it works by inhibiting both alpha and beta receptors in the body, leading to reduced blood pressure.

Labetalol can be effectively retained and analyzed using a Zodiac HST OG2 mixed-mode stationary phase column. The analysis employs an isocratic method with a mobile phase composed of water, acetonitrile (MeCN), and formic acid as a buffer. Detection is performed using UV at 300 nm.
