Analysis of Cortisone 21-Acetate on Zodiac HST OG Column

Cortisone 21-acetate is a synthetic corticosteroid used for inflammatory, autoimmune conditions, and hormone replacement therapy. It acts as a prodrug, converting to cortisol, which binds to glucocorticoid receptors to regulate inflammation.

It can be retained, separated, and analyzed using a Zodiac HST OG mixed-mode column with an isocratic method employing water, acetonitrile (MeCN), and phosphoric acid as a buffer, with UV detection at 250 nm.
