Analysis of Amoxicillin on Zodiac HST OG

Amoxicillin, a widely used antibiotic from the penicillin class, is effective in treating various bacterial infections, including respiratory tract infections, ear infections, skin infections, urinary tract infections, and certain types of bacterial endocarditis. The retention and analysis of amoxicillin can be achieved using a Zodiac HST OG mixed-mode stationary phase column. This analysis follows an isocratic method with a simple mobile phase consisting of water, acetonitrile (MeCN), and ammonium formate as a buffer, with detection performed using UV at 272 nm.
