HPLC Separation of Organics Acids

Home HPLC Separation of Organics Acids

Description

The Zodiac HST RP column separates organic acids like fumaric, benzoic, phthalic, naphthoic, and maleic acids using a combination of anion exchange and reversed-phase mechanisms. Adjusting the acetonitrile percentage in the mobile phase allows modification of retention times and elution order, a feature not possible with traditional ion-exchange chromatography. The method uses a mobile phase of water, acetonitrile (MeCN), and trifluoroacetic acid (TFA), with UV detection at 250 nm.
