HPLC Separation of Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) and Benfotiamine in Milgamma 100 Tablets on Zodiac HST S1 Column

Home HPLC Separation of Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) and Benfotiamine in Milgamma 100 Tablets on Zodiac HST S1 Column

Description

Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), naturally found in foods like meat, grains, and avocados, and Benfotiamine, a synthetic Vitamin B1 derivative with potential therapeutic applications, are key components of Milgamma 100 tablets for treating Vitamin B1 and B6 deficiencies.

These vitamins can be retained, separated, and analysed using the Zodiac HST S1 column in normal-phase mode. The method employs a mobile phase of water and acetonitrile (MeCN) with a phosphoric acid (H₃PO₄) buffer. Detection is performed at 280 nm in the low UV range.
