Atorvastatin is a statin drug widely used to reduce cholesterol levels and
manage cardiovascular risk. An HPLC assay method was developed for
the determination of Atorvastatin using a Presto 120 C18 column. The
chromatographic separation produced a sharp and symmetrical
Atorvastatin peak at a retention time of approximately 9.82 minutes,
demonstrating good chromatographic performance. The method provides
a suitable approach for the routine assay of Atorvastatin in pharmaceutical
analysis.
