HPLC Separation of Aminobutyric Acid Isomers Using Mixed-Mode Chromatography
HomeHPLC Separation of Aminobutyric Acid Isomers Using Mixed-Mode Chromatography
Description
Zodiac HST C effectively separates isomers of aminobutyric acids through a combination of reversed-phase and ionic interaction mechanisms. Alpha-aminobutyric acid, beta-aminobutyric acid, and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) are baseline resolved without the need for ion-pairing reagents. The HPLC separation is carried out using a mobile phase consisting of water, acetonitrile (MeCN or ACN), and ammonium acetate, with detection performed via evaporative light scattering detection (ELSD).
