HPLC Method for Separation of Ambroxol and Bromhexine Zodiac HST- OG2 Column

Home HPLC Method for Separation of Ambroxol and Bromhexine Zodiac HST- OG2 Column

Description

Bromhexine, a mucolytic, and Ambroxol, an expectorant, are commonly used to manage respiratory conditions involving excess mucus. These agents can be effectively retained, separated, and analyzed using a Zodiac HST OG2 mixed-mode column under isocratic conditions with a mobile phase of water, acetonitrile (MeCN), and sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄) as the ionic modifier. Detection is performed in the low UV range at 210 nm, 245 nm, and 315 nm, ensuring reliable quantification in pharmaceutical formulations.
